The Seven Virtues

All members are to conduct themselves by the Seven Virtues:

Hope

Be positive. Set goals and look forward to achieving them.
Be joyfully surprised to discover you are even more capable than you thought.
Regard every problem not as an obstacle but as a challenge to learn from and to overcome.
Do not cast blame; propose solutions.

Charity

Give of yourself.
Treat kindly those who treat you kindly, because they deserve it.
Treat kindly those who treat you poorly, so the world might become a nicer place.
Hold others in your heart and in your mind.

Fortitude

The greatest rewards involve the greatest risks.
Do not be afraid to experiment. Do not be afraid to try something hard.
Our greatest hours will be our most difficult ones.

Justice

Be honest and fair.
The only true justice is that which we make for ourselves.
Do not give your word lightly, and keep it when it is given.
Expect the same of others.

Prudence

Fools rush in.
Do not risk your life or the lives of others unnecessarily.
Do your homework - know what you're getting yourself into.
Have a plan. Have a backup plan.
Be prepared to innovate when both fail.

Temperance

Show discipline.
Do not overstep yourself by succumbing to temptations.
Bounty comes and goes. Be sure your friendships do not.
Do not be lured into childish argument.
Never lose your temper.

Faith

Believe.
Trust in yourself. Trust in your guildmates.
Trust, and together we can accomplish great things.
